The Molly the Mollusc Fan Page
This page is dedicated to our beloved yet much abused society mascot,
Molly the Mollusc. Molly has existed for more years than anybody can
remember, originally as various sketches and clipart. She attained physical
form a few years ago now and she has been a very active member of the group.
She comes to all the events and is often seen posing on photographs!
Where do Mollys come from?
After extensive research the BUCG are proud to announce the discovery that
Mollys grow on trees! Observe:
A Molly seedling, newly planted.
A full grown Molly tree.
Molly even has her own email address. You can email her
For the cynics amongst you who don't believe me, here is an email that Molly
sent welcoming the new committee:

Welcome to the new BUCG committee. I'm so glad
no one else wanted my mascot position as I do so
enjoy being mascot.
Wasn't the AGM great? All that yummy food and
drink. The last few days have been so exciting
for me. I've moved house to live with Gemma now
and everything is all new and different but i'm
having lots of fun.
I do hope there are lots of socials coming up so
I can still see everyone even though there
aren't any more sunday events. I see on Gemma's
email that there is a cycle trip to Bath being
planned. How exciting! I've never been to Bath.
Can I come too? I'm sure I could balance on
Oooo its Easter soon, that means lots of Easter
eggs. I hope you will all buy me one. I was
quite upset that I didn't get an Easter egg at
the AGM for being on the committee. I think I
did a great job as mascot last year. I put up
with being abused by a lot of people although I
did have a tendancy to get quite drunk at
Anyway I think thats all I've got to say.
I hope you all enjoy your time ont he committee
along with me.
Lots of love
