Bristol University Lifesaving Club is a competitive society, taking part in around 10 BULSCA (British University Lifesaving Clubs Association) competitions a year against 13 other universities around the UK. The club provides swimming and first aid training - focusing on competetive lifesaving techniques.
As well as offering competition training, lifesaving skills and qualifications the club offers NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguarding Qualification) courses as often as possible as long as there is enough uptake.
The club is sponsored by the Bristol Alumni Foundation.
