Although we have filled all the committee positions, we always appreciate ideas and help, and anyone wishing to help organise some fun and extremely productive events should email the President. If you want to help, there is no maximum or minimum work required. We need help running all kinds of events, from Singing For Sex, to small projects like planning publicity stunts, or even just emailing people and helping hand out flyers.

The roles of the various Committee positions are:

President : oversee the running of the society and the events, keep in touch with the national student Stop AIDS campaign, chair weekly meetings.

Vice-president : help the president with the running of the society and chair meetings if the president is unavailable.

Treasurer : look after the money, taking care of all invoices and keep accounts up to date.

Secretary : sort out the paperwork, take minutes at weekly meetings.

Press Officer : ensure that press releases are written and go out in time to the epigram and local news and radio.

Publicity Officer : ensure posters and flyers are designed and distributed before events, co-ordinate with the press officer for publicity on local tv/radio/newspapers.

Website Co-ordinator : maintain the website, ensuring that it is kept up to date with current information.

Singing for Sex Co-ordinator : Oversee the Singing for Sex committee.

Non-Portfolio : A committee position but without specific responsibility, an opportunity for you to be as involved as you like.
