UBGC was initially set up in 1998. We now have about 40 members, some who are members at Bristol & Clifton G.C. Member ship can be arranged for players (handicap under 24) on the course for a discounted rate, giving full access to all the facilities during and unlimited golf term time at each club.
No matter now if you are beginner, intermediate, professional or if you haven't touched a golf club in your life, we have a membership that suits you! For beginners and intermediates, we arrange coaching every Tuesday evening on Woodspring driving range. We provide each player with equipment if you don't want to buy your own. Coaching fee is included in the joining fee.
If you're good player (single figures), you can come and play on your team tryouts. The team competes in national competitions and receive coaching from a fully qualified PGA professional (Paul Mitchell). UBGC also takes part in the BUSA league.
