About the Academic Registry
The Academic Registry, headed up by the Academic Registrar, is one of the professional service divisions of the University of Bristol. It comprises:
- The Academic Registrar's Office (The Academic Registrar and support staff);
- The Education Support Unit (which provides a range of support for new and established members of academic staff involved in teaching, supporting student learning, and assessment);
- The Student Administration Team (including responsibility for registering students, timetabling, student funding, examinations and higher degrees, and student systems and information).
The Academic Registrar reports to Lynn Robinson, Deputy Registrar (Education and Students), who is also the ‘owner’ of the education and students process.
