Hiatt Baker Hall - important information regarding construction work

Construction work has begun on an additional 327 bed spaces and transport hub to be constructed within the boundaries of the existing Hiatt Baker site. Work began in October 2012, and the transport hub is due to be completed in Autumn 2013, with the new residences completed in 2014.
Hiatt Baker and University Hall
This construction work will affect both the Hiatt Baker and University Hall sites. All current study bedrooms in both residences will be available for let throughout the project.
The very nature of any construction will at times cause varying levels of disturbance, especially to the rooms directly facing onto the site, see plans (PDF 2.46MB) for more details. As with any major building project there will inevitably be noise, mess and disruption around the site, however, with the demolition phase of the project now complete, it is thought that the worst of this disruption is now over.
