Community Liaison Group
The Accommodation Office hosts a twice yearly forum for the discussion and consultation on issues related to students and the community, in particular:
- Waste and recycling
- Anti social behaviour
With a view to:
- Formulating plans to reduce any negative impact of students in the community
- Improving communications between local residents and the student body
- Informing students and local residents of their rights and responsibilities.
The Community Liaison Group consists of representatives of local resident associations, Community Liaison and Student Union officers from both the University of Bristol and the University of the West of England (UWE), local and University police, Bristol City Council officers and local ward councillors.
Minutes of previous meetings cam be found on the Bristol Student Community Partnership web page.
