After graduating with first-class honours in Economics and Accounting, Richard trained as a Chartered Accountant with a big four accounting firm, working in audit and tax consulting.
He moved into industry as the Group Financial Accountant for the European financial services unit of a multinational conglomerate, then became Financial Controller of an ethical bank supporting only those organisations and projects with positive social, environmental or cultural impacts.
