Centenary alumni forum, The global financial climate, London

A panel discussion on the current economic climate with Angela Knight CBE (BSc 1972), Chief Executive of the British Bankers' Association, and Tim Herrington (LLB 1975), Chairman of the FSA's Regulatory Decisions Committee, chaired by Professor Paul Grout, Head of Economics.

The discussion was followed by a drinks and canapés reception.


This event formed part of a series of interactive events for alumni during the centenary year which will tackle some of the pressing issues of our day.

On 6 October, join Professor Dame Carol Black CBE DSC (BA 1962, MB ChB 1970, MD 1975, Hon DSc 2003), Chairman, Academy of Medical Royal Colleges, Bill Fullagar (BA 1961), Chairman of the NHS Blood and Transplant and David Redfern (BSc 1988), Chief Strategy Officer, GlaxoSmithKline, to discuss the healthcare lottery.

On 18 November, join Stafford Lightman, Professor of Medicine, as he explains his ground-breaking research into stress and the brain.
