Representing Alzheimer’s: exploring Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia through film & science

Filmmakers and scientists come together at this event to increase the public understanding of dementia. A series of short films about dementia, curated by local filmmaker James Murray-White, will precede a discussion with researchers from the University of Bristol and other institutions supported by BRACE, a local charity that funds research into Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

Panel speakers include: Professor Seth Love (Professor of Neuropathology); Laura Palmer (South West Dementia Brain Bank Manager); James Murray-White (filmmaker).

Venue: The Great Hall, Wills Memorial Building, Queen’s Road, BS8 1RJ. Please note: an upgrade to lift facilities means that lift access from street level to the Great Hall on the first floor will not be available on this date. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
