Tim Bennett (MBA 1998) hosted a BBQ for alumni in Shanghai. The city had its hottest July for 140 years, which made for perfect BBQ weather and there was even a few athletic alumni who competed in some games of twister.

Alumni from the Class of 1963 re-united

Over the weekend of 24 to 27 May, a group of Alumni from the Class of 1963 re-united once more, as they have done every ten years. During their time at the University the group used to meet up for lunch and to read Winnie the Pooh on the steps of the Vic Rooms, then the location of the Student's Union. On one such occasion someone took a photograph of the group. At subsequent re-unions the scene was re-enacted, with the shy and retiring Michael Hursey hiding behind a paper bag.

Lucy Collins, Head of Widening Participation & Undergraduate Recruitment at Bristol, gave an informative talk aimed at explaining the University’s undergraduate admission policies and procedures, and tackled the questions that have arisen as a result of government policy changes.
