Convocation is the formal name for the graduate body and acts within the University as a voice for alumni. Membership of Convocation is automatic and free; if you're a graduate of Bristol University, you don't need to join – you’re already a member.

Many graduates get involved by becoming a Convocation representative on Court or by joining the Convocation Committee.
Convocation annually presents awards to between two and four students who have given outstanding service to the University, the Students' Union, the general community or the environment.
Convocation also run a series of events, including the Convocation Reunion Weekend, the Spring Lecture and the Convocation Reception. To find out more, visit the events page.
