September success

15 December 2008

September, a short film by Esther May Campbell (BA 1995), has won Best British Film at this year’s Encounters International Festival in Bristol.

The film, which was shot in the South West, is a story of growing up and is, in the words of a review from the director’s website, ‘beautifully shot in an enigmatic and poetic style’.

The film’s European premier was at Milana. Its UK premier was at The Times London Film Festival, where it played to two sell out audiences.

September is produced by Met film. A DVD, CD and recipe book are planned for 2009 release through Invada records.
