The British Council China is encouraging Bristol alumni to join up to its Chinese Alumni UK Network.

The British Council China is encouraging Bristol alumni to join up to its Chinese Alumni UK Network.

The network is a platform created by British Council China to facilitate exchange between alumni upon their return to China after studying in the UK. Started in 1999, it now has more than 13,000 members.

The network can help Bristol alumni in China build and maintain contacts with other UK alumni, and provide them with career opportunities. In addition, the network will keep them up to date with the latest development in the UK arts, culture and science.

Amy Liu from the British Council said: ‘Through out the year, we run tailor-made events all around the country. The career development workshop helps people understand the job market in China, a professional development seminar keeps them updated with the most recent development in their business area and an annual ball provides the opportunity to meet with people who have shared similar experiences.’
