A limited number of travel bursaries are available for UK home applicants in financial need attending an interview or visit day. These awards reimburse the travel costs of the cheapest possible train fare (or, where appropriate, the most economical alternative form of transport).

As a guide, households with an income in excess of £50,020 are unlikely to be eligible for a bursary. We are unable to confirm whether or not you will receive a bursary until you have accepted your invitation to an interview at Bristol, but we aim to advise applicants as early as possible to help them make the most suitable travel arrangements.
