University of Bristol Archaeology and Anthropology Society (ArchAnthSoc)

The University Archaeology and Anthropology Society holds its meetings in the Lecture Theatre, 43 Woodland Road (Archaeology & Anthropology Department), most Thursdays during term time at 5.30pm. These evenings commence with a lecture of about an hour from a guest speaker, which is followed by the consumption of considerable quantities of FREE booze and nibbles. Once the FREE booze runs dry, everyone transfers to the Highbury Vaults pub around the corner, when the night continues until the landlord turns off the lights and carries us onto the pavement.

Membership costs but £6 for a year, or £15 for three; join at any lecture or pay £1 on the door.
