imitating the dog: Nocturnes

11 October 2017, 7.30 PM - 11 October 2017, 9.00 PM

Following A Farewell to Arms (2014) and The Train (2016), imitating the dog's attention returns to the mid twentieth century and on this occasion the world of Cold War espionage. Nocturnes is a playful and moving examination of what it means to be the betrayed and the betrayer in a world where nothing appears certain and the truth is what you make it. This is the perfect theatre piece for what is currently being described, in the light of recent political events, as ‘the post-truth era’.

“Imitating the Dog is still, to me, one of the UK’s most interesting companies.” The Observer

“Imitating the Dog is not only a company without imitators, it is currently without peer.” The Guardian
