Rachel Murray: 'Virginia Woolf's fascination with insect life'

English PhD student and Bristol Museum Fellow Rachel Murray gives a free lunchtime talk on Woolf’s love of lepidoptera (butterflies and moths) in her essays and fiction, examining the science as well as the symbolism of the winged creatures that flit through her writing.

You’ll also get to see beautiful specimens from the Museum collection.
