European Summer Schools in Vascular Biology ran very successfully over the last 5 years thanks to funding from the European Community and lately the European Society of Cardiology. Popular Summer Schools have also taken place in several continental European countries but never before in the UK. We have gained experience organising these Summer Schools and thanks to generous support from the British Heart Foundation, several front-running cardiovascular biology societies and some industrial companies, we are now able offer a 4 day residential Summer School programme at nominal cost. Students will have the opportunity to present their work, learn form an expert faculty and sample the many interesting delights of Bristol.
