WOLFSON BIOIMAGING FACILITY OPENING SYMPOSIUM
We have recently established a new (bio) imaging facility at the Medical Sciences Building, University of Bristol. This new “Wolfson Bioimaging Facility” is a state of the art Light and Electron Microscopy Facility, which we feel is unique because it fully integrates both modalities.
To celebrate this we organised a Scientific Opening Symposium that highlighted the new possibilities within the facility. For this we invited 4 internationally renowned speakers, who presented the latest in their field of expertise. This one-day symposium was held on Thursday January 8, 2009 and was open to everyone. The symposium was covered in the following media: Microscopy and Analysis and The British Society for Cell Biology newsletter.
