The facility offers an extensive range of sample preparation workflows which can be tailored to your specific project. All sample preparation and gel running is performed within the facility’s clean room to minimise keratin contamination.

Common approaches include:

• Sample concentration, desalting and/or buffer exchange.
• Albumin/ IgG depletion or 'Top20' depletion to improve the identification of lower abundance proteins in serum and plasma proteomic studies.
• Protein separation using 1D SDS-PAGE.
• Proteolytic Digestion: In-solution or in-gel digestion performed using our DigestPro automated digestion unit to minimise sample handling.
• Peptide fractionation using liquid chromatography.
