JSPS and the Academy of Medical Sciences will be holding a joint symposium titled “Medical Imaging and Artificial Intelligence” . 

This be followed by a networking reception at the Japan Embassy in London until 20:00.

The aim of the meeting is to bring together leading experts from Japan and the UK to discuss the current research landscape of medical imaging and the contributions of artificial intelligence to this field. The meeting will also provide an opportunity to reflect on the regulatory and ethical considerations needed to support the effective and impactful adoption of such technologies. 

The main speakers from Japan and the UK have been decided and the order of their presentations will be announced shortly. There will also be several panel discussions throughout during which time attendees are encouraged to exchange viewpoints and highlight the work they do.
