Cabot Summer School - Risk and Uncertainty in Natural Hazards

The Cabot Institute, in conjunction with BRISK, will be holding a summer school in July 2012. The school will provide advanced training in risk and uncertainty in natural hazards from the Cabot Institute's leading academics.

The school is open to postgraduates, early career researchers and scientists from industry and government agencies.

Dr Jonathan Rougier - Reader in Statistics, Director of the Bristol Environmental Risk Research Centre (BRISK)
Prof Steve Sparks FRS - Professor of Volcanology
Dr Li Chen - expert in spatial statistics with application in environmental and geophysical sciences
Prof Willy Aspinall - Cabot Professor in Natural Hazards and Risk Science

Fees

£300 Course fees for students
£500 Course fees for non-students

Cost includes all course materials & lunch.

Accommodation is not provided but we can provide a list of suitable venues for all budgets.
