Cabot researcher is co-I on £700K NERC-funded study to look at tropical wetland methane emissions

Ed Hornibrook is co-I on a 36-month £700,000 NERC-funded study with colleagues at the Open University, the University of Leicester, and the University of Nottingham. 

The project entitled 'The contribution of trees to tropical wetland methane emissions' will investigate emission of soil-produced methane through root aeration structures in the stems of tropical wetland trees and will involve fieldwork in Brunei, Panama and Brazil.
