Opening hours

• Details of University of Bristol term and vacation dates are available
• Term-time opening hours began on Monday 23 September 2013 and will continue until Friday 20 December 2013
• During weeks 1 to 10 of the autumn term, Monday 30 September to Thursday 5 December 2013 inclusive (Monday-Thursday), the Careers Service will remain open until 19:00 with appointments with a Careers Adviser available until 18:30

Closure dates:

• Monday 23 December - closed for staff development and training
• Tuesday 24 December to Thursday 2 January inclusive - University of Bristol closed

• If you require communication or access support, please contact the Careers Service to discuss ways of organising this
• Careers Service closing procedures commence 15 minutes before the advertised closing time

Careers Service staff are based in two buildings so please choose carefully from one of the following options depending on whether you are a current Bristol student, an employer or a graduate:

• For current Bristol students
  • with general queries about eligibility, opening times, forthcoming events should contact the Welcome Desk: careers-service@bristol.ac.uk or 0117 928 8221 (internal 88221). Please note: the careers-service general mailbox should not be used for requesting careers advice and guidance - see alternative contacts below.

  • with queries about careers information resources should contact the Resources Help Desk: careers-resources@bristol.ac.uk or 0117 928 8237 (internal 88237) (Please note: this email address is not for requesting careers advice and guidance; we aim to reply to your query within five working days. Response times will vary depending on a number of variables including staff availability and the number of concurrent enquiries).
• For employers

• For graduates
• University of Bristol graduates from the last three years living outside Bristol requesting careers advice, please use the Careers Advice By Email service. Please note: this service is free for Bristol graduates for the first three years after graduation after registration with the Careers Service. An email will be sent to registering Bristol graduates within two working days confirming registration details which will then allow Bristol graduates to access selected services and resources, including the Advice By Email service.
• Recent Bristol graduates are able to take part in the University of Bristol Internship Scheme and receive funding for more than one internship in a calendar year. See the Internship pages for further information.
