- Prospects.ac.uk - the UK’s official graduate careers support service including:
- Job profiles - Explore over 400 different types of jobs, with details of entry requirements, salary ranges, typical employers and vacancy sources.
- Industry insights - Explore job sectors such as Accountancy and Business Services, Advertising, Marketing and PR, Sport and Leisure amongst many others
- Country profiles - details for working and studying in over 50 countries around the world
- Prospects job sectors - From Animals, plants and agriculture to Teaching and education
- Options with your subject - Ideas of what you can do with your subject of study, with details of skills gained, jobs related to your degree, further study and other options
- Prospects Jobs and courses - Online careers magazine with details of latest jobs, courses, advice and information

There is also TARGETjobs Careers Report a online careers 'matching' program and the Employer Insights - reviews on graduate employers.

- Inside Careers - in-depth career information on a range of professions including chartered accountants, management consultancy, chartered patent attorneys etc.
- Learndirect - details of career and course options
- Disability Rights UK - national pan-disability organisation led by disabled people, formed in 2012. They offer information and support for students with disabilities, including a helpline.
- National Careers Service (formerly Next Step) from Directgov - careers advice for all ages, including a telephone adult guidance service. Includes National Careers Service job profiles.
- Directgov Young People (formerly Connexions) (for people aged 13 - 19).
- Open University Careers Advisory Service
- Careers Tagged - The Careers Group, University of London
Charity and company information
- Vault Career Insider - including industry overviews, occupational profiles and insider company information written by employees
- Lexis Library - database subscription by the University Library allows you to search UK newspapers for reports on employers and occupations, with full text coverage from the mid-1980s. Access to Lexis Nexis is through MetaLib: your resource gateway and requires an Athens username and password.
- Intute - company information resources for education and research. NB: Following Intute's closure in July 2011, the website will remain available for three years. However the site will not be maintained or updated, and no additional resources will be added.
- Biz/ed - provider of Internet-based learning materials for the economics and business education community
- Companies House - the official UK government register of UK companies
- Financial Services Authority - the FSA Register is a public record of financial services firms, individuals and other bodies which fall or have come under our regulatory jurisdiction as defined in the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
- Charity Commission - the regulator and registrar for charities in England and Wales
