mycareer is the name of a new online environment from the University of Bristol Careers Service and this will replace, in time, selected content previously available on the Careers Service website.

From Friday 16 November 2012 employers' ability to register with the Careers Service in order to post vacancies will be temporarily suspended as we migrate content from our legacy IT system to mycareer week commencing 19 November. We will then need to conduct some tests to ensure the data is all present and correct.

| Suspension of Jobs By Email - 19 November 2012 |
From Friday 16 November 2012 the Jobs By Email alerting service will be suspended; the last emails will be sent at 19:00 on Friday 16 November. Jobs By Email will re-emerge as part of a weekly 'mycareer newsletter' in January 2013. This newsletter will be 'smart' to the extent that news items in each student's and graduate's newsletter will be partly dependent on their 'My Preferences' settings - i.e. news about events, resources, vacancies will be tailored to their interests. The 'Vacancies' module in mycareer also provides students and graduates with the ability to:

From Thursday 22 November 2012 employers migrated from our legacy IT system will be able to login to mycareer to submit vacancies. Employers not migrated will be contacted when mycareer is launched to students and recent Bristol graduates.
