RWE Npower Energy Challenge Bristol finalists
A team from Bristol came second (out of seven finalists) in the RWE Npower Energy Challenge final on 22 March 2012. The teams had to present their proposal of a new way that energy can be created and harnessed whilst bearing in mind environmental pressures and keeping costs low to both Npower and the consumer. The Bristol team's fantastic presentation focused on the use of thorium at nuclear power stations instead of uranium.
