OUTSTANDING AWARD - PROJECT MANAGEMENT
  • Have you managed a team of people? Had to negotiate or persuade? Overcome a challenge and shown initiative? Gone above and beyond people's expectations? We are looking for Outstanding Bristol PLuS Award students who feel they have demonstrated all these skills and more through a project or activity outside of their degree.


  • To be eligible for the Outstanding Award, you will have to submit your evidence online explaining how you have:
    • Demonstrated leadership and team working
    • Managed resources (i.e. money, equipment)
    • Solved a problem or overcome a challenge with initiative and creativity
    • Liaised with external (to UoB) businesses or organisations developing commercial awareness - Click here to find out more.
  • It must be different to the activity used in the 'Intensive Skills Activity' element of the PLuS Award.

  • You must have had involvement for a minimum of 20 hours in total.

  • Examples of qualifying activities:

  • If your submission is successful you will be invited to a 10 minute presentation - please see below for further details.

PRESENTATION

  • Presentationsl last 10 minutes (plus 5 minutes Q&A)


  • Students will be assessed by a combination of academics, alumni, University staff and Bristol PLuS Award endorsing employers.


  • During the presentation you will need to demonstrate evidence of the skills you have developed whilst completing your project management activity including:

    • Solving a problem or overcoming a challenge with initiative and creativity
