This Careers Service web area is for University of Bristol staff to use as a guide to our services and resources. Within these pages you'll find an array of ways in which we can support both you and students you might be working with.
The Careers Service mission is: Enabling students to make and implement informed choices about their future and realise their aspirations. The Careers Service Annual Report 2007/08 is also available.
All academic departments have a dedicated Careers Adviser who can deliver departmental talks and workshops; we also have a range of specialist staff working on skills, work placements, employer liaison and statistics that you can contact. Contact List

Our Services
- Careers guidance & information for students: Information Centre, drop-in careers advice, workshop programme, jobshop, postgraduate study advice, specialist postgraduate student, international student and work experience advisers.
- Bespoke departmental activities: Careers talks & workshops, skills training for students, career management programmes and tailored resources.
- Skills & employability support: Departmental Careers Advisers, developing skills & employability through academic programmes, guidance for work placement opportunities and personal development planning support.
- Information & statistics: Employment statistics for Bristol graduates, usage of Careers Service statistics, departmental pages and information on vocations and industries.
- Employer liaison: Labour market trends, contact with employers, employer events, fairs and targeted information for your students.
- Services for you as staff: Advertise departmental vacancies through us, develop internships, or consult our Staff and Research Staff Careers Advisers about your own career.
