Through our partnership with Dorothy House Hospice, the 2023 Responsible Innovation challenge  explored the concept of digital immortality.  The challenge enabled our students to consider how to engage audiences with difficult topics, as well as  consider the ethics and governance around future technology.

Facilitated by Kilter Theatre, and with support from Dorothy House Hospice and from John Troyer (University of Bath Centre for Death And Society), our students wrote and developed four short films on  the theme 'Dust to Data: Digital Immortality': 

• Lines have been blurred - who would you trust to keep your child's memory alive?
• You can keep your Lang Langs - what does dead mean anyway?
• Who doesn't want to live forever?  Your future is in their hands. Forever.
• Sebastian  - How do you want to be remembered when you've gone.

The full films have been shown at the Bristol Watershed and Bath Film Festival.
