Professor Ka Ho Mok, Director of Centre for East Asian Studies (CEAS), was invited as Visiting Professor by the School of Government and Public Affairs (SGPA), Zhongshan University, China, to give a speech introducing the Centre at Zhongshan University on 28th April 2005. A signing ceremony was organised to celebrate the agreement of collaborations signed between CEAS, University of Bristol and SGPA at Zhongshan University.
The agreement covers planned research collaborations, student and staff exchanges, co-organisation of international workshops and symposia, professionals training programmes for Chinese civil servants and co-publishing plans.
