The BMF supports a range of activities:

• Seminars by distinguished outside speakers
• Half-day meetings with poster session

Venues are rotated between the University of Bristol Schools of Medical and Veterinary Sciences (Cellular and Molecular Medicine, Biochemistry, Veterinary Sciences at Langford), and Oral and Dental Sciences, and the University of the West of England (UWE)

• Annual Regional meetings

Regional meetings engage attendees from the University of Exeter, University of Cardiff, University of Swansea, University of Bath, UWE and University of Bristol
