Research

The mission of our school is both to teach students how to become successful scientists and to undertake world class research focused on turning science into medicine, specialising in cancer biology, infection and immunity and regenerative medicine/stem cell biology. This alignment allows us to deliver research programmes that are underpinned by an in depth knowledge of the field.

Research themes

I have thoroughly enjoyed my course. I feel that my third year has taught me how to be a scientist, rather than just teaching me science.

Seminars

The school runs a diverse programme of specialist seminars for all staff and students in the faculty. These are given by speakers from within the school as well as visiting speakers who are specialists in their fields.
