Why You Give - Donor report 2011/12
Congratulations! Thanks to the support of alumni and friends 2011/12 has been a record-breaking year for Bristol. Over 7,200 donors, including 6,538 alumni gave a gift to Bristol - which is more than ever before.
For the first time, Bristol's 'regular giving programme' raised more that £1 million, with 6.4 percent of alumni making a donation. Thanks to you, this is the most successful programme in the UK, with the exception of Oxford and Cambridge.
Every one of these gifts to the University is important and valued. Together, you are helping to support education and provide students with the tools and opportunities they need to become the leaders of tomorrow. You are also enabling Bristol's academics to advance vital research to help tackle critical issues the world over.
