What else is out there??

We keep hearing about brilliant projects that are bringing science and art together, happening in Bristol and elsewhere.  We don’t have a great place to publicise them all, but perhaps this would be a thread that people with interesting projects can respond to.

And then who knows what collaborations might emerge…

    Hi

Just to give a heads up about a work-in-progress arts-science theatre performance happening at the Alma Tavern theatre, Bristol, on April 4th-9th, at 8pm. It’s called ‘The Softening of MAO-A’, and explores ideas in behavioural genetics, as well as our own perceptions of biological change and innate behaviour. It’s about an hour long. MAO-A is a gene with scientifically proven links to impulsive violence.

The company is The Mechanical Animal Corporation… they’ve just finished a critically acclaimed site-specific show at Paintworks, Bristol. check http://www.mechanimal.wordpress.com for further info…

    Hope to see you there!

I have something up my sleeves – not ready go 100% public with it at the moment but I’ll be in touch very soon :)

Declan – I like this idea! Calling all budding photographers – this is your chance to shoot some chemists in action.

I would imagine that folks from University of Bristol Chemlabs might well like to be involved.
