New prayer facilities on campus

Prayer RoomPrayer facilities for Muslim students and staff have recently moved from their previous location in the Wills Building to a new dedicated facility at the Coach House, behind 21 Woodland Road. This can be accessed either from Woodland Road, or via the bridge on St Michael's Park. These facilities are available 24/7 and entry is by UCard.  There is a room for women at the front and for men at the back, and both have washing facilities.

If you wish to gain access, please email multifaith-chaplaincy@bristol.ac.uk and your card will be activated (during University vacations, please contact card-services@bristol.ac.uk). We hope that the transition to the new facilities will be smooth - if you encounter any problems in the coming weeks, please notify us so we can address them.

Prayer RoomFriday prayers are currently taking place at Kingsdown Sports Centre (BS2 8HL), owing to the ongoing refurbishment of the Richmond Building, but should be returning to the 5th floor of the Richmond building in October 2013.  Please see the Islamic Society website for updates (http://www.brisoc.com/prayer-facilities.html).
