Last term news!

Press release issued: 26 April 2017

                            Welcome back everyone!

We hope your Easter break was restful and that you are ready for the home run of this academic year!
We have a few things to let you know about.
  • First of all, we had our annual Faith Crawl before the Easter break. It was a lovely day, with great visits and hosts. We've put a couple of pictures on our "Highlights" section on our website. Take a look here

  • Secondly, Soup Mondays are off until September. As in previous years we won't be running soup lunches this term. However we'll still have bread, spreads and fruit in the kitchen to sustain you whilst you work hard on your deadlines and exams.

  • On Wednesday May 3rd we will be hosting the annual Anne Spencer Memorial Lecture. Ruth Hunt is the Chief Executive of Stonewall, the largest LGBT equality body in Europe. She will be speaking on 'The Role of Faith in Social Change Movements'. This will take place at 6pm in the Great Hall, Wills Memorial Building. You can book for free here

  • Finally on Friday May 5th, 1-2pm, we will hold our termly session of Sacred Texts For Living Today ( formerly Scriptural Reasoning). The theme will be "Hospitality to Strangers". Contribution for texts welcome. If you wish to come, please let us, so we can plan enough lunch.

Have a lovely start to this last term,
Warm wishes,
The Chaplaincy Team.
