Cross-Cultural Communication: Exploring Cross-cultural Differences and Similarities in Attitudes Towards Hearing Help Seeking and Uptake of Hearing Aids

We are delighted to announce that a seminar will be held at Centre for Hearing and Balance Studies on 22nd February (Friday:  9:30-15:30) 2013 which is jointly organised by Bristol University and Swansea University.

The aim overall aim of this seminar is to highlight the influencing factors on hearing impaired people  for their hearing help seeking and hearing aid uptake in the context of cultural background. Several international well-known guest speakers will give presentations on the seminar.

Travelling to the University

Search for the 'Centre for Hearing & Balance' on the right hand list of the University precinct map to find our location and also the location of Senate House. Or you may like to download the map to print.

There are multi storey car parks located on Trenchard Street (off Park Row) and Jacobs Wells Road, which are a 10-15 minute walk from the main University precinct. Metered parking for up to 2 hours is available on Woodland Road.
