First year language

Second year language

You will take one of the following language units in your second year. These units give specific skills relevant to studying science in a foreign language in your year away from Bristol. The intermediate level units are designed for students who took beginners level units in their first-year of study; all other students will take the advanced level units.

The third year of your course you be carried out at a European university. You will study a variety of courses at your placement institution alongside distance learning material delivered through the Bristol ChemLabS Dynamic Laboratory Manual. A wide choice of universities is available including the following destinations where we have recently placed students:

  • Transfer to the Chemistry with Industrial Experience programme is not normally possible after the first term in the first year.
