Please note the following

  • Transfer to the Chemistry with Study in Continental Europe MSci programme is possible for students taking an appropriate language unit in their first year of study.
  • Transfer to the Chemistry with Study Abroad MSci programme in the second year is possible but becomes increasingly difficult due to demand for placements on this programme.
  • Due to the divergent nature of the Chemistry and Chemical Physics programmes, transfers to Chemical Physics are only possible during the first term of the first year and can only be considered for students who are taking Mathematics 1A20 and Mechanics & Matter as their optional units.
  • Transfer to Biochemistry BSc is possible for students taking Biochemistry in their first year of study and is at the discretion of the Schools of Chemistry and Biochemistry.
