TheirStories: Amelia Pereira; Girl Brain, Boy Body

27 March 2019, 1.00 PM - 27 March 2019, 2.00 PM

Amelia Pereira

Wills Memorial Building 3.32

Amelia Pereira, who is based in the School's undergraduate teaching labs, will be giving a talk as part of the Univerisity's Their Stories series.

Amelia is an advocate of the expression ‘there’s no such thing as a stupid question’ and throughout their talk you will be encouraged to ask anything you feel is appropriate in a safe and open minded environment.

During Amelia’s talk they will speak about their transgender identity, how they found it, living as a trans person and how their life has changed since coming out in Autumn 2016. Amelia works at the University of Bristol and is a musician and blogger so this talk will also touch on their life as a transgender individual within these places.
