Royal Society of Chemistry Awards 2015 - Congratulations to John Bower and Tony Davis

Congratulations to two of our staff who have won Royal Society of Chemistry Awards for 2015.
John Bower has been awarded the 2015 Hickinbottom Award for his research on “the design and mechanism of broadly applicable transition metal catalysed processes for organic synthesis”. This is a prestigious award which consists of a monetary prize, a medal, an organised lecture tour and research support.
Tony Davis has been awarded the 2015 Physical Organic Chemistry Award for "the creative design and study of innovative functional molecular architectures, such as carbohydrate receptors and transmembrane anion transporters". Tony's award also consists of a monetary prize, a medal and an organised lecture tour.
