Women in Innovation prizes for former School of Chemistry students
1 December 2016
Congratulations to School of Chemistry alumni Becky Sage and Emma Sceats who have both been awarded Women in Innovation prizes run by Innovate UK worth £50,000
Former PhD student Becky Sage and former MSci student Emma Sceats were two of 15 women awarded with a Women in Innovation prize. The project, run by UK agency Innovate UK, was launched to address the fact that only one in seven business funding bids it received were from women.
Becky is the Manager Director of Interactive Scientific Ltd which was founded by School of Chemistry/Royal Society Research Fellow, Dr David Glowacki.
Emma is Chief Executive Officer of Oxford University spin out company, CN Bio Innovations.
