Research summary

Heterocyclic Synthetic Chemistry involves (i) the exploitation of cyclic sulfamidates for the synthesis of enantiomerically pure N-based (and “drug-like”) heterocycles and (ii) the design and synthesis of novel nicotinic acetylcholine agonists based on cytisine.

Carbohydrate Chemistry is primarily focussed on biologically important carbohydrate-based interactions, and specifically carbohydrate-carbohydrate interactions.
