  • Ian Bull, Jens Holtvoeth, Sabine Lengger, Helen Whelton and Jamie Lewis attanded the Stable Isotope Mass Spectrometry User Group Meeting (SIMSUG) held at the British Geological Survey in Nottingham. Both Jamie and Helen presented papers titled "A tale of Swine and Strontium; Strontium concentration, radiogenic (87Sr/86Sr) and stable (δ88Sr) strontium isotope systematics in a controlled feeding study" and "A multi-proxy approach to diet and animal management in the Neolithic of northern Greece", respectively. Ian presented a poster titled "The fate of plant wax derived hydrocarbons in a leaf-cutter ant colony". The OGU was voted to hold the conference in 2019. Watch this space!
