Registration and Abstract deadline
Registration for SIMSUG 2019 is now open and can be accessed here. After selecting the appropriate registration option you will be presented with an option to 'Proceed to Checkout', you will then need to create an account with the shop. Following this you will have the option to submit an abstract (if you are just attending then please write 'Just attending' into the box). Critically, please indicate at the top of your abstract whether you wish to be considered for an ORAL or a POSTER presentation. Attendees are limited to 110, so you are strongly urged to register as early as possible to avoid disappointment. The deadline for registration and abstract submission is Friday 31st May 2019.

SIMSUG 2019 Location
SIMSUG 2019 will be hosted by the Organic Geochemistry Unit (OGU), School of Chemistry, University of Bristol.
The campus is located 2 miles from Bristol Temple Meads railway station. Buses run frequently to and from the train station. Please note there is no parking available on site and the area surrounding the University is permit parking (pay and display). However there are several multi-storey car parks within walking distance to the university.
On the evening of Thursday 27th June, the SIMSUG 2019 conference meal will be held at The Pavillion in the Bristol Zoo Gardens. Bristol Zoo Gardens is the fifth oldest zoo in the world. It opened its doors to the public on Monday 11th July 1836 and since then has welcomed over 90 million guests. The zoo has helped save over 175 species from extinction in human care and in the wild. Currently the zoo works on conservation and research projects across the world, from the Phillipines, South Africa and back to our very own door step, the River Avon.
University accommodation does not become available until after the conference but there are plenty of B&Bs and hotels within walking distance from the University:

Queen Square and towards St. Nicks Market (~12 min walk): Radisson Blu, Premier Inn Bristol City Centre King St, Mercure Bristol Brigstow Hotel, The Bristol Hotel, YHA Bristol Hostel
Clifton (~14 min walk): The Clifton Hotel, The Washington Guesthouse
