Main Content Areas
These are accessed from the navigation links on the left of each page (viewed through a standard web browser).
- About Us - is an introduction to this department and contains general information about the department and its philosophy.
- Prospective Students - provides information to those interested in studying in the department, both undergraduate and postgraduate. Gives department specific information as well as links to University resources.
- Current Students - this content area has information for current undergraduate and postgraduate students. Most is publicly available although some, such as teaching material, is restricted.
- Research - provides a sub-section for each of the research groups within the department to introduce the types of research projects, the facilities available and the personnel involved. Some research groups are further split into research areas.
- Research Centres - are the web pages for University research centres hosted within the department. There are strong overlaps with the research pages.
- Industry - covers the strong links the department has with industry through the professional Institutions and our collaborative teaching, research and consulting work.
- Alumni - is a place for department graduates to find out how they can keep in touch.
- Staff - provides information for staff employed by the department as well as another way to access staff contact details. Most content is publicly available with some restricted to staff only.
