Conference Organiser: Matt Dickson
The economic return to education has long been a parameter of great interest and over the last two decades advances in econometric methodology and the availability of large mirco datasets have afforded researchers new tools and better data to address this question. At the start of a new decade it seems an appropriate time to bring together leading academic economists and policy makers to evaluate what we know, what we do not yet know and the direction in which the literature is moving when it comes to quantifying the economic return to education.
