Conferences, meetings and exhibitions

There is no substitute for meeting face-to-face

Meet, discuss, share ideas...

Sometimes it is important to meet face-to-face to ensure you reach common understanding or to simply network with colleagues and friends.

And an exhibition can be the perfect medium to convey or expand on complex concepts and ideas.

Whatever your reason for holding a meeting or conference in Bristol, you’ve come to the right place. The University’s Conference Office offers the widest choice of rooms, halls, lecture theatres, and exhibition spaces in the South West. You can even choose from venues in quiet Stoke Bishop, elegant Clifton or the University precinct itself.

Many venues are historic locations like Georgian mansions in Clifton or the dramatic neo-gothic Great Hall in the Wills Memorial Building on the University campus. There are plenty of venues available in contemporary buildings too, and as you’d expect of a leading University, all sites offer comprehensive access to modern facilities.

This is a taste of what's on offer:

  • Seating for 2 to 800 delegates (the Great hall seats 800).
  • Tiered Lecture Theatres with capacities from 80 to 380 delegates.
  • Meeting rooms and exhibition areas offer access to private gardens.
  • Computer suites.
  • Facilities available throughout the year.
  • Catering available at all venues.
  • Self catering, overnight accommodation available at easy rates out-of-term
  • First class sporting facilities

Contact the Conference Office with all the details as soon as possible. The team can give you a swift idea of availability and costs.
